Foundation
a creative concept tied to one audience and viewing purpose

Practical guide by MOTA Media Group
A brand film becomes a coherent story when its audience, point of view, change, evidence, and visual line are defined before filming. Preparation separates the company's strongest verified facts from generic advertising language.
For brand, communications, founder, and production teams turning company history, people, processes, products, or archives into a film for a defined viewing context.
Set one primary idea and the context in which the film will be seen, assemble verified facts and source material, choose a protagonist or viewpoint, and map situation, obstacle, action, change, and conclusion. Give each interview a unique function and plan observable actions, locations, archives, and adaptations before production.
The final configuration follows the approved brief, channels, source materials, schedule, and rights framework.
a creative concept tied to one audience and viewing purpose
a dossier of verified facts, archives, documents, products, and processes
a narrative spine with a protagonist map and interview functions
a visual plan, source-material list, master specification, and version matrix
Use these examples as a starting point. A producer will confirm the actual production route after reviewing the brief.
Scope, inputs, timeline, approvals, and usage rights are confirmed for the actual project.

Brand film: build a story from verified facts

Define the action the audience should understand after watching. Annotate references to explain the lighting, pacing, camera and sound you need, and what should not be copied. Separate essential shots from experiments.
Before filming, check access, power, background noise and lighting-change time. Plan wide shots, details, transitions, clean sound and alternatives. The crew and equipment list are confirmed for the actual scope.
Agree the master, vertical and short versions, subtitles, thumbnails and source-file retention. Review the entire film with and without sound; check names, captions and permissions for every supplied asset.
